The Deaf Cultural Centre is the UK's first centre built to bring together diverse
elements of the Deaf community and Deaf culture under one roof. The Centre is a venue where Deaf culture is celebrated, explored and represented through a
series of community and leisure projects, arts, exhibitions and social
events.
We were asked to brand, design and develop a website to coincide with the venue’s launch. We delivered a community focussed site which is contemporary and full of useful features. The site is fully content managed using our custom built Wrapper content management system. The site features comprehensive events listings, media galleries and news with fully commenting and RSS feeds. Importantly, the site features BSL video across most pages.
