Here are a few choice pictures from the inspiring city that is Tokyo. More here >>>
Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery has the largest collection of Pre-Raphaelite art in Europe, most of which has rarely been seen. Late last year we won a 4-way pitch to design and build a website to showcase this archive of over 3,500 images.
It’s a project which has seen a vast amount of research, design and technical development. From paper prototypes to strict standards compliancy. From coding a custom CMS entirely in .NET 3.5 and the brand new ASP.NET MVC framework to developing a dynamic Silverlight gallery application. The site has seen a whole lorra love.
We anticpate the archive to go live in the next month. We will be fully documenting our process outlining how we tackled various problems to create an in-depth valuable art reference.
More soon.
I would love to live in a tree, especially one like this. In a word, fantastic!
I realise it's been a bit quiet around here recently - we've been quite busy lately. However expect a whole splurge of goodness from Tokyo as I will be spending the next 3 weeks over there. I aim to visually (and sonically) sample everything. I'll stick a bunch of stuff up here as and when I find the juice.

PS: Any readers in Tokyo - drop me a line if you want to meet up :))
