A media reserve for Thomas Tallis Specialist Arts School in London. The
site showcases film and audio produced by pupils and teachers at the
school.
The site groups media by keyword with each keyword being represented by a
colour. Coloured lines are drawn connecting media across a virtual
desktop. Movies and audio are stored in the archive and can be examined
in detail — with the option to go full screen with movies. Viewers can
also leave feedback on each piece of media.
Tallis Shorts is powered by a bespoke content management system created
in–house. The system handles the conversion, compression and resizing
of all media uploaded as well as user submitted comments and keyword
management.
