What a wonderfully surreal music video.
Thanks to Ben for the link. (P: Ben's site is worth going to as he’s just put online the Rainbow Hunters promo he’s made)
Wow — this link will take you to a photo collection of old Soviet arcade machines. This fantastic collection belongs to the Soviet Arcade Games Museum in Moscow (link to English site). They look so different to the arcade machines that I would play down on Blackpool Pleasure Beach! If i ever go to Moscow, this place will see a few of my golden nuggets.
Follow the break below to see my personal faves.
Thanks to Smilka for the link
Thumbs up - let the production commence!
We are going to sell these, so tell you what — how much do you think we should charge?... They are about A3 in size - are wide enough to hold 12” vinyl, are made from high quality cotton and feature a single colour print with side label.

The Ikon Gallery have just opened a new show by artist Ryan Gander. For those not in the know, we worked with Ikon to redesign their website. One of the features we put in place was the ability to create media galleries. The point of these was to highlight each exhibition through high resolution images, audio and video. The goal was to archive the event, create interest around the show and offer a the next best alternative to actually visiting the gallery.
Throughout design & development we were always unsure how the Ikon would use this feature. We hoped they would take the opportunity to commission short documentaries and play back any audio or video work generated around the show.
To our delight we watched Ryan Gander’s ten minute documentary and realised that they are using the tools better than we could have imagined. What a great video and fantastic example of how a traditional gallery can use the online space to widen and excite their audience. Check the part about half way in where the uniform for the exhibition invigilators is revealed — white Adidas tracksuits! Genius!
Incidentally, the documentary was created by Chris Keenan aka Prime Objective.
Thermo is a new development application by Adobe for designers to assist in the build of web based projects. Heard many promises many times for applications that can do away with the developer — will be interesting how this pans out. Looks good in my initial opinion…

Those little cake mixes you could get with the edible print Beano characters are terrible compared to these Mario inspired cupcakes.

Geeky goodness.
If I were a dj I'd have to make myself headphones made out of an old telephone (you'll remember seeing disc jockeys using them at d.i.s.c.o-s back in the 80's). Well here's a
how to guide.
All you need is an old telephone handset, a soldering iron, a mono male phone plug and a sharp utility blade and you're away.
I've always had a place in my heart for Lego, I used to love tipping boxes of it out onto the floor and building random little cars which I would smash up with my brothers.
Some people prefer to do more serious things with it, like BrickMasterpieces demonstrates. Whole streets in Lego and a massive aircraft carrier among other things. Check it out.
Just spotted this on Beautiful Crime — like it! Although £300… dang! I like how it is authenticated by artist finger print — great idea.
